From workshop to ebook-   What You Must Teach Your Child In Science   Welcome! I am so excited to bring this information to you.   Some of you may remember this used to be a workshop. I have replaced it with this book. The workshop was 50 pages and printed from the internet. This new book is at 120+ pages is in pdf format so the formatting is good.  While it contains all the material the workshop did, like a second edition, much has been added. I have added more chapters, more drawings and some color pages, more detailed explanations and generally took more time to go more indepth.Your book will come with a printables file that contains the parts of the book you will want to print.   About the book  If you are here then I assume that you fear science or don't like it, aren't teaching it or are using curriculum and still feel like something is missing. And it is. Because it won't matter what you know about plants and dinosaurs and the oceans when you take the college entrance exams or enter lab classes. What will be important is the ability to DO science. Those skills that are required but usually missing in many very bright, well educated kids cause them to hate science and vow never to return. And that's how the legacy continues from generation to generation.   When I was a high school science teacher I, along with my fellow teachers, did our best to help our students learn these skills in the short time we had them. Because without them, they were failing our tests, unable to complete lab and turn in good lab reports and even after 9 years in school with science every year, they still came year after year without these skills. And that's why I wrote this book. These skills are still missing in most books and curriculum and it is my wish that every child gain these skills even if they don't intend to enter college. These skills will still help them in areas of their lives where they will have to make choices, think and problem solve. I help you with dealing with labs, and we also discuss teaching toddlers and teaching teens.   Cost Probably 80% of donations for the workshop were for $25. So I'm setting the price here at $20. I think that's fair based on what I've added and what the public said it was worth. I know it should actually be at least $30 but with our economy the way it is, I want to keep the price in a range where as many people who want and need it, can get it.   I'm not good at writing those long well formatted coloful teaser pages for ebooks that lure people into buying them so this is it.
