How To Teach Science

Hello Teacher and Homeschooler,

Thank you for considering the workshop. We are convinced that the current traditional thought on how to teach our kids science is failing. This workshop offers to you what is missing in traditional teaching and through experience will help our children be prepared for actual experiences they will encounter once they begin taking standardized tests to get into college. It will also prepare them to "do" science, to enter classes and labs prepared, not just in theory about the content of science, but in reality, to DO the science they will be expected do. This is not an ebook. It is fashioned after a workshop format to simulate coming to a class each day for a week. You will have extra reading, homework, handouts and the same information as if you were attending a workshop in person with audio visual aids and extended learning. Once you have the information you are free to assimilate it into your teaching as you see fit and as you have time just as you would at the end of your week long workshop.

Be advised that if you are a science major, have extensive science experience and feel very confident in your children's ability to do science, then this workshop is probably not for you unless you wish to hear an alternative method to approach teaching science that may be different from the traditional textbook philosophy.

This workshop is not freeware. The How To Teach Science team ask that you consider how much you can donate for the material and when you have finished a few installments, make that donation. If you get into it and don't like what you read, you don't have to email, simply discontinue reading and donate nothing.
